Lily A Longitudinal View of Life With Down Syndrome is a threepart documentary that follows Lily, an individual with Down syndrome. The series shows her life over a period ofyears, during which Lily attends elementary school, graduates from high school, and eventually lives independently.

Released in 1988, the second part of the series gives viewers a chance to see Lilys development. The camera follows the twentyyearold as she graduates from high school as a class marshall and moves into a group home. She has a job at a restaurant and proves to be very adaptable.Released in 1997, the final installation of the series shows Lily as a fully independent woman. She has moved into her own apartment and has a job at a grocery store. Viewers are able to see her daytoday life and how she has grown into her own person. ........
